Following her graduation from Spelman, Dr. Spaulding took some time between her studies to nurture another passion, working with children, and worked as apprentice second grade teacher at New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, CT. Dr. Spaulding then went on to obtain her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Spaulding spent a year practicing in Charlotte, NC, followed by her associateship in the DMV area, before returning back up north, where she is now a new addition to McLean Smiles.
Dr. Spaulding has a passion for treating her patients as a whole and ensuring that they maintain optimal overall health by keeping their oral health a top priority. Dr. Spaulding loves working with patients of all ages, including children, which was reinforced during her time as an elementary school teacher and has been able to use those skills to make all of her patients feel at ease in the dental setting. Dr. Spaulding strives to educate her patients on the importance of oral health care and prevention and create a friendly environment where the whole family can receive care.
